This will be the shortest review I have ever done. And why? Because it’s for a movie that is absolutely … well, read on first. We are in the tail in of the Summer Blockbuster Season which means the “bottom of the barrel” period for movies. Not saying all films are bad in August/Sept., but its like all the big films are already out and heading to the DVD factory for the Christmas rush.
This review is dedicated to those we lost and were touched by the Colorado Movie Theater Tragedy. 7-19-12. This has got to be the hardest review I’ve had to write. Not that it is a difficult film to write about, but because of the tragedy that has gone along with it. However, as a film reviewer, it is my duty to continue bringing the readers the latest in film entertainment and making your movie going experience the best I can. Zack Snyder is coming back with a really risky project, even if behind the scenes names and surnames are interesting, Christopher Nolan first of all. I had only heard about this film when I was watching the Oscar’s this year and it had received many nominations. From the film clips I saw, I knew it would be worth my time just for the fact it was nominated for an Oscar.This film is what they call a “Dramady” (a drama with light comedy to ease the story along). It is an extremely well done film by director Alexander Payne. With a strong cast and serious storylines, The Descendents lived up to its Oscar nominations.

When a trailer can give you the chills, you know it’s gonna be good! Once again I saw this in a packed theater a summer of many years ago and I was just getting into the “Horror Genre” of films. With a world full of Slasher films, it was nice to get scared the old fashioned way; a damn good ghost story.
Once in awhile a film comes along that is worth bringing to your attention. A film that most people don’t hear about and slips “under the radar” and this is one of those films. Being from Southern California, I can tell you there is nowhere like it in the world! There are SO many things that make California great; the weather!
There are certain actors that seem to do just about every and any film that comes their way. Actors like Robert DeNiro, Samual L. Jackson, and Liam Neeson. With so many films coming out, some get lost in the shuffle, others are blockbuster hits, and some make you scratch your head and wonder; Why did they film this? Oh yeah, the paycheck.
The official poster for Norweigian director Reinert Kiil‘s Hora (The Whore) sequel Inside The Whore has finally been revealed. The film is scheduled for release in the fall 2012 by Scandinavian distributor Another World Entertainment who also released the original Hora in 2010.
