New stills for hungarian slasher BLOODY NIGHT

Bloody Night is a slasher film that has recently completed principal photography. This disturbing title has been shooting in Budapest, Hungary since January of 2013. And now, director Hakan Yildiz has released several photos from the shoot. Award nominee and writer Pau Masó is shown as one of several friends stalked by a mysterious killer. European based actor Anna Rust also appear in these stills.

ZOMBIE ED out on dvd

Wacky zombie comedy Zombie Ed, directed by Ren Blood is out now on DVD, released by Brain Damage Films. Here we are with the synopsis: Loser Ed has a lame job, a beater car, a crappy apartment and no hope of a girlfriend. Ed doesn’t think things could get any worse for him until the day he woke up and found he had GONE ZOMBIE. Can Ed become the zombie he was born to be?

First teaser trailer for DITCH

Writer Daniel P. Coughlin’s sinister thriller Ditch continues to impress. Coughlin has created a horrifying feature from his script that incorporates an axeman, a ditch party and a score that needs to be settled. Coughlin is best known for his previous horror features, including After Dark’s Lake Dead (2007) and Farmhouse (2008) starring Steven Weber. Ditch will continue this writer’s terrifying film run, with a group of high schoolers targeted for revenge!

FROM BEYOND makes its blu-ray debut

From the team that brought you the gloriously perverse Re-Animator comes the equally surreal horror classic From Beyond, which makes its long-awaited debut on blu-ray thanks to Second Sight Films. Based on another H.P. Lovecraft adaptation this deranged gorefest is directed by Stuart Gordon (Stuck) and produced by horror supremo Brian Yuzna (Society).

Second Trailer and Clip for THE WHISPERING DEAD

Busted Knuckle Productions is continuing to develop their haunted title The Whispering Dead. After principal photography was completed in 2011, this film has undergone a transformation in the editing room. Over 19 special effects shots have been added to this production and a final “killer cut” has been completed. Negotiations have begun with distributors. The Whispering Dead is expected to reach horror fans in Q2 or Q3 of 2013.
